05.23.19 | [Columbus Ohio – May 23, 2019]  Columbus, OH – PSI announces a new Chief Operating Officer. Tom Bowden joined the company as the COO mid May. Bowden is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in flexible and rigid packaging industries. Tom is responsible for all global manufacturing operations, R&D and supply chain management. Prior to joining PSI, Bowden held senior leadership positions in ProAmpac’s Flexibles Division, Berry Plastics Specialty Films Division, and most recently at Anchor Packaging.
02.21.19 | [Columbus Ohio – January 31, 2019] Plastic Suppliers, Inc., (PSI) a worldwide leader in sustainable compostable packaging, earned a Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification after ten months of work and a significant investment. An SQF certification contributes to current customer objectives, increases market reach and is preparation for FSMA compliance. It also expands the company’s ability to enter additional food-grade packaging markets.
04.04.18 | Plastic Suppliers, Inc. announced today new financing facilities of $35 million including funding for capital expansion of $23 million to increase capacity in 2018 and 2019 in response to growing demand for its EarthFirst® sustainable packaging and label film businesses. Funding for the expansion comes from two facilities: an $8 million facility to expand and add manufacturing to its Ghent, Belgium site and a $27 Million facility to fund growth and add additional production capacity to its Columbus, Ohio manufacturing facilities.
