Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for strategic and tactical Supply Chain material sourcing and procurement, material planning, inventory management, logistics and cost management.
-Manage vendor relationships
-Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, terms, and credit agreements
-Solicit and manage opportunities for supplier innovation
-Align sourcing strategies with customer needs
-Monitor and analyze data related to pricing forecasts
-Shift sourcing strategies to minimize costs
-Eliminate or manage the risk of sole supplier positions•Manage agreements for utilities
-In conjunction with Sales, manage the demand forecasting process.
-Analyze and monitor the forecast accuracy, providing feedback to Sales to improve the process
-Establish and manage inventory targets to balance cash flow with customer lead-times, preventing stock-outs of critical materials.
Education and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
-APICS or ISM certification preferred
-Minimum of 8 years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment
-Global supply chain experience
-ERP systems experience required
