Manufacturing Supervisor – Slitting Department

Essential Functions:

Manage compliance to regulatory and customer requirements to assure effective production of film solutions that meet ISO and SQF requirements.

Constantly monitor compliance with safety rules and ensure safe work practices, stopping unsafe behaviors in the moment.

Clarify and communicate individual and group expectations, delegate effectively, cross-train broadly.

Establish safety and customer focus as the top priorities.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance, supply chain processes, work instructions and manage the accuracy of production recording.

Supervise the daily operation of the assigned team. Manages the manufacturing process with thorough planning of personnel, equipment, materials, and other critical resources.

Train, develop, retain, recognize and manages associates.

Provides clear, consistent feedback, coaching and development opportunities; including timely and meaningful performance appraisals

Maintains an organized and safe work environment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility

ERP and SQF experience a plus

Strong computer skills required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
