This position is central to providing domestic executive and operations management timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting analysis, internal controls, liquidity and operations planning capabilities and credit facility support. The controller is also responsible for global coordination with an EU based subsidiary for financial reporting, compliance, and planning. 


The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:

Monthly, quarterly and annual closing activity and consolidated financial reporting to its many stakeholders

Organization and planning of annual financial audit and tax compliance

Organizing and planning employee benefit plans audits and 5500 compliance reporting

Pertinent account and special project analysis on a regular basis

Management of global ERP standard cost and inventory systems

Compliance with foreign, state and local tax requirements

Development and coordination of internal audit policy and procedure compliance analysis

Coordination of continuing development of corporate-wide financial KPI’s and reporting

Compliance with lender’s monthly credit facility reporting requirements and management of daily banking activity

Assemble short and long- term cash flow projections

Coordinate the preparation, analysis and maintenance of the global annual and interim financial operating plans

Managing relationships with external professionals, as required

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills and Attributes:

Master’s Degree in Accounting, MBA with concentration in Accounting and/or CPA certificate

7 -10 years accounting or CPA professional staff experience

Critical thinking with demonstratively strong analytical and problem solving skills

Demonstrable excellent communication and presentation skills

Master of Microsoft Excel capabilities

Ability to work in and drive team performance

Manufacturing accounting experience required
