Plastic Suppliers' manufacturing division, known as Polyflex® is located in Columbus, OH. the company operates two separate plastic film and sheet manufacturing facilities here. The plants are located adjacent to each other and each facility uses a different manufacturing process.

Plastic Suppliers' original Polyflex® operation began in 1974, when the company began manufacturing its own line of biaxially oriented polystyrene (OPS) through a cast and tentered process.

To better serve market demand, Plastic Suppliers broke ground on its newest Polyflex® Manufacturing facility in 2000, with commercial product becoming available in 2001. This facility uses a blown film process.

Operating two OPS plants which use different manufacturing technologies has enabled Plastic Suppliers to better meet customer and market needs, and to maintain its leadership position as an OPS producer.

Today, Polyflex® Manufacturing produces an array of polystyrene products for diverse applications ranging from thermoformed trays and dome lids to shrink label applications.

The company also produces film for labels, specialty graphics, lamination, and colored window film applications.
