Our blown film manufacturing facility is host to one of the most innovative products known within the plastic film industry. EarthFirst® PLA (polylactic acid) is made using a patented process, which yields one of the market’s greatest gifts yet, a 100% compostable substrate that is made using the annually renewable resource, corn. This new biopolymer compliments our ongoing oriented polystyrene products that we have been producing since the 1970’s. It also opens numerous opportunities and markets for new applications that will ultimately benefit our customers and the environment.

As we move forward, our goal will be to continue to explore any and all new products and polymers that can have a positive impact in the industries we serve while continuing to satisfy the needs and demands of the ever-changing markets and world we live in.
